    Hmm, interesting update although there doesn't seem to be any big change that would concern the average user.

    Also, am I the only person worried about the removal of MS Paint by default?

    Seriously though, Microsoft removes important programs and either doesn't replace it or replaces it with something inadequate/not as intuitive or with missing functionality. Some more examples would be Windows Movie Maker and the 2010 MS Office Picture manager.

            I've been using my Windows 10 laptop less and less (and I used to use only Windows OS's) since I got the latest 256GB MacBook Air, I'll eventually get around to updating it.

              So, MS isn't content on just getting an OS right, it will force on you some VR update, some assistants and a whole lot of telemetry stuff. I can't find one feature in Windows 10 that I actually like, honestly.

                finished my update. almost took an hour to have my pc work again.
                version is now 1709 build 16299.19. why on such info on the post.
                can feel many refinements made on this update. can consider it is a windows 2017. make a fresh installation is good idea. 8GB ram is still sufficient. memory consumption is 3.4GB/ 7.9GB.

                        You can still download Paint on the Store still for free though.
