It has good specs, but at $2499, it's also expensive.
Still, there is no other laptop, that has the form of the Surface Book, has these good specs and can provide the same level of integration, since these laptop's are essentially straight from the horse's mouth (Directly from the maker's of Windows 10 themselves)

These are going to sell really well like all other Surfaces do. But this one when considering everything, this is the best one out there. The surface pen support alone makes it worthy. Then there's dial and a bunch of other features for creators. A better GPU for not only gaming but also for video and photo editing. I am buying it on nov 17.

Microsoft goes nuts, copying apple strategy good luck? For this kind of money you can get very decent gaming laptop from reputable manufactorer, not like Microsoft

I'm betting it'll be another unrepairable laptop like what they did with the Surface Laptop which is basically unrepairable without destroying the outer casing.
