Even honor 8 pro defeats brand newl s8 in each and every department except few very heavy games where s8 leads just by few seconds. But after about 6 months s8 itself becomes so slow and it's already cluttered software becomes laggy that even much cheaper phones can compete with it. And now mate 10 has AI built in. This processor will retain atleast 89% of it's initial power even after 1 year. It will optimise battery according to our usage. So your fake comparison itself becomes valueless. And camera? p10 has best still photography capability, better that all flagship phones, it's only problem was video stabilisation, and now mate 10 has dual camera system with AI image recognition,joint made with legendary leica, f/1.6 aperture, video stabilisation. So it's clear mate 10 will also lead camera segment this year. And mate 10 has 2k screen. at par with any one. And mate 10 pro has FHD. It's not a problem as humans can't find any difference between FHD and 2k. And mate 10 series is also much cheaper than note 8. So mate 10 series are champion of 2017

i love this phone... other people used to tell me that its from china its not so good .. but for me.. i really really love this intelligent MObile.. i TRust HUAWEI... i will be getting my mate 10 pro soon.. soooo excited!!!!

AnonD-203829, 18 Oct 2017kirin 970 is out just now (8 month later than the competiti... morewell,if you look at the numbers in geekbench 4, they are the same,kirin 960 and sd835 that is!as for samsung,i am sick and tired of their so called great hardware...after some time performance degrades, battery performance drops ....sure,i can't speak for huawei,since i only had a mate 9 for a month, but i for sure won't be paying for a samsung flagship soon.as for the so called great screen,can't argue with you,but i personally am of the opinion that a more than fullhd resolution on a 6 inch screen is a waste of battery and money, as it does not matter so much.i'vve seen 1440p screens and fullhd screen,i have a mi max which is 6.44 inch and fullhd,believe me,absolutley no problem.if you have a good quality panel,it is more than enough fullhd.cheers!

Bluetooth\wifi\4g receptions - samsung always does better on those than the most, especially better than chinese - thats a fact.

but you will know, because in 2 years maximum you will not be able to find a new flagship that is 16:9

Much more important than few percentages performance difference, are all the other hardware devices inside the smartphone. and samsung takes huawei big time in most of them, the screen for example.
and after all, S8 and S8+ released with cheaper prices 8 months ago, and now are way cheaper than those huaweis, and given this fact, are much better deals.

S8 is just a simple phone with posh screen and almost 1 day lasting battery.... This Mate is a phone that last long in every aspect and it feels that it stays on top for few years. U can see very easy that people from huawei really put some work to do something better than last year. S8 ? just a full screen size

Huawei if u are listening...we want the regular Mate 10 here in the US. Now that there is a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant make that available here as well..guess both models. Do not delay to deliver...the longer ppl wait minds change and ppl move for their 2nd choice.
HUAWEI I/WE WANT THE REGULAR MATE 10 HERE IN THE UNITED STATES ASAP....(6GB/128GB with bands that play nice with major carriers Tmo especially 😀)

The price is pretty high, as the Samsung S8 has started selling below $600 in some places, so there's nothing too great in this phone which makes it better than S8 (only the dual camera).
