U11 plus is just U11 with no bezel, FPS moved on the back, and on screen button re-emerges.
Every other things stay put as original U11.
And oh, don't daydreaming about 3.5mm jack! (:

Low end ram, there are 100 bucks phones with that low ram and ram is 80% of the every day performance (the other 15% is the internal storage and the last 5% peak performance of the cpu/gpu)... Is that the best HTC can do? Really?

Anonymous, 18 Oct 2017Single core still shit on Android. It uses Qualcomm, what do you expect? It is consistently the slowest company yet for some reason companies prefer it for years.

I mean Samsung has a better chip yet prefers to use Qualcomm's than her in house chips. The situation is strange at best, suspect at worse.

It is beyond me why Qualcomm is not out of business yet. Ever since the great success that Snapdragon 800 they have only done incremental updates all the while the rest of the industry (especially Apple) has flown to the moon...

im pretty happy with my htc u11, but if htc wont launch android 8 before years end, i'm done with htc. android updates are very very few p/year in europe. i was used to nexus update, and i'm an android developer i need to be on top of all android versions.

Anonymous, 18 Oct 2017Single core still shit on Android. since iphone 6s or SD 820 and up..all phones are smooth and responsive...keep looking to benchmark scores...i guess its the closer you will get to a premium device

Noel, 18 Oct 2017After many many years of my/others ranting about HTCs pench... moredo you have used an htc u11? those "huge" bezels are only on photos.. the bezel is 3D, the curve stops right when the screen starts...on hand it gives a good solid grip and smooth same time. the only problem i've is exactly the 3D corner. my inside palm touches the left corner icons when i'm with one hand because it doesnt have any border left. if sometimes i've this problem with a "huge" bezel phone i can only imagine, that bezeless phones are great to look...but a nightmare to use.

After many many years of my/others ranting about HTCs penchant adulation for Huuumongous bezels..have they finally seen the light on the cost huge bezels has inflicted to their bottom line???? Have they also seen the light on the value of BIG/capacious batteries that is key to most buyers???
Well I hope so...every year I keep my fingers crossed only to be disappointed. Huge bezels have long been a dead weight dragging down their sale numbers...hence the predicament they find themselves now. Well it is time..i will say way past time for them to see the light.
