WTF! i was expecting nokia 7 to launch and this guys launched a filthy nokia 2 very disappointed, now i have to select from moto G5s plus or MI A1. Feeling very sad, hope to buy a new nokia phone after 2 years. till then buy nokia

I have the international version of the Nokia 6 and it has not slowed down with all the apps I have loaded up. It will get the Oreo update also. Will the Chinese OEMs get updates ? Nokia was wise to go with stock Android.
If they can get the features back that the Lumias had that would be great. Nokia Lumias had the best cameras over iPhone and Android. They had glance screen 4 years ago. Nokia was very innovative and that can be again. Here is hoping !
The build quality is second to none and the camera takes very decent photos . Nokia is just starting again. They had to start all over and I think they will do great.
I don't do games on my phone so that doesn't even factor in. The 6 so far for me after several months has been a very solid phone in performance. Does what I need a phone to do and then some.

Q, 20 Oct 2017- In China, the Initial price tag of 6 is around US$300, an... moreWow, 450$, do you happen to live in, lets say, a loopy land where all prices are twice higher? In Vietnam (Asia) the price is around 250$, in Czech Republic (Europe) 300$, Germany 293$. In USA is even 229$.
And indeed I love all of those "experts" who claim to know everything about phones from inside. If your uncle is the real deal, please kindly tell me which parts are shared with those "cheap" Chinese brands? Are those Chinese OEMs getting parts from, ehm, Foxconn, just by chance? Or where to get GENUINE yet CHEAP display replacement parts? Please enlighten me, because I only accept firmly backed arguments.

If this phone is meant to be camera focussed with Zeiss and being mid range, then it really needs OIS. Even if not then at least EIS.

But Nokia 8 kicks one plus 5 out of the window for similar price and better display and build quality coupled with similar camera and ip54 as a useful add on. Rest of them, I can't say. Have used Nokia 3. Best built phone in sub 10k bracket but better phones are available. This is their first attempt at Android so calm down and wait. More Competition is always good..

I just wish its bezel were smaller. And don't even consider iPhone dude, if you have been using Android from years then you will be kinda disappointed with iPhone.

There are a lot of better options at the same price, Sony XZs , the Xiaomi Mi6, the OnePlus 3T, Mi Note 2/3, Sharp S2, Honor 8 Pro, 9 , V9, etc. The only reason to buy this is be a fan of the brand and buy the new model.

- ALL fanboys JUSTIFY Nokia's move of using SD430 instead of SD625, albeit it is BETTER for long term use (the same reason why Xiaomi keep using SD625 for their mid-range line-up).
NOPE, u fanboys ALWAYS said "SD430 is accepatable for daily use", ignoring the ASKING PRICE of 6, which is a sick joke for a JUNK phone.

Nope, ALL chinese-made phone use the same parts, except display.
How can I said that? My uncle own a service center for Android phone (all brands), and he said that no phone made by Foxconn have better parts compared to other brands. All Nokia Androids from Nokia X till 6 (except 7 & 8, as we don't have it), still use eMMC, FARRR DIFFERENT from the likes of Meizu, OnePlus, leeco, or Xiaomi, which use UFS for their >US$350 phone and newer DDR version, which means, no more lag and stutter for all activities (I myself own Redmi Note 3 pro, My dad own Mi5s plus 6GB version, and I never feel stutter in my dad phone, unlike mine which has 3GB RAM & Nougat Custom ROM).
FYI, my uncle even said that some parts in Nokia 6 could be found in cheaper phones made by local brand (Mito, Evercoss, Polytron, Haier, ZTE), and there are TONS of OEM display replacement for 6 which is as good as the original, but with WAYYY LOWER price.
In short, STOP SPREADING BS & LIES!
No amount of OPTIMIZATION could improve the poor hardware choice of Nokia device!
I myself are going to get a Sharp S2, made by the VERY same company (Foxconn), with WAYYY BETTER overall package, and only had to pay ~USD300! (check jd if u don't believe it)

And really not necessary to have dual camera to get better photos, only for bokeh effect, otherwise a single camera with better lens and sensor is always going to give u a better image. Like Lumia 950 would still beat any other smartphone on market purely on basis of image quality.

And i understand when u say it is underpowered, for gaming its surely underpowered. But daily usage and running apps, and if u really want to really on your phone to work when u want its certainly more capable. Its not only the specs of the phone, its also the hardware quality. I know the chinese version of Nokia 6 had some issues and low performing camera, but the international version or the US version is really improved. And when i say u have to hold the phone to experience the build quality, its definitely true.I have seen many cheaper phones with higher specs, and u have to agree that how much they slow up after installing few apps and in a run of 5-6 months. While the optimization and regular software update keeps Nokia 6 running smooth and without any issues. No cheap manufacturer is going to provide u with that kind of service for sure. Infact nokia used to be really pricey before, but after comeback the i really never felt like the phones were overpriced.

To anyone bashing nokia with word "overprice" , you get what you pay for. Just look at many overprice midrange and high end phone like samsung, apple, vivo, oppo, sony, lg, moto. All of them still stand until today because of brand power and marketing. Even if nowadays sony was more and more underrated and more low in sales it still exist. Price = Quality, and Quality over quantity. Facts.
