Anonymous, 19 Oct 2017u mean you want to go back to almost 2010. Removable battery me... moreNo. I mean I want to go back to the rational and logical phone design.

Removable battery means modularity and freedom: you can insert 2x or 3x bigger extended battery, you can change the appearance of the back by replacing it to a different back cover (like you could replace the housing of old Nokias).
Removable battery means no planned obsolescence: you can extend the lifespan of the phone by replacing the old, bulged, deteriorated battery to a new one. Even if the OEM stops the support and won't make new battery for the phone, you still can buy 3rd party batteries.

Phones should not be as thin as today's phones. Phones should not be fragile glass. Thicker phones with durable body, bigger/better camera sensor and removable battery are much better.
Plastic is the best material for phones anyway.

Your "non glass back means no wireless charge" statement is wrong, because only metal back doesn't support wireless charge. Plastic supports it. But who cares about wireless charging? Wireless charging is an useless gimmick anyway.

You don't have to go back to 2010. The last phone with removable battery is from last year, 2016: it's the LG V20.
