Samsung Gear Sport price in US $299. Price in UK £317. To be fair, the UK price includes VAT whereas the US price is before whatever state tax applies depending on where you are in the US.
Knocking the VAT off brings the UK price to £264 which is better but $299 at today's exchange rate is around £230
Rip off Britain is alive and well and that will only get worse post Brexit!

Biggest disadvantage of the Gear S3 series smartwatches - lack of standalone functions, with the sport trackers you can't choose your created or uploaded own maps, where you could follow the roads.

More interested in Gear S2. Gear S3 is so huge, it is unbuyable(Probably not a word and not totally true) :)
