iOS can run comfortably on 2GB ram with no slowing but Androids are needing 6 to 8gb. thats ridiculous

Even with 3rd party camera apps, it's limited to max 6 seconds shutter. Time lapse also only records in 4k and long video. So for now, forget sharing time lapse on social media, from the Nokia 8.

                    Still a better deal than anything out there, especially now that the OnePlus 5 cannot be purchased anymore in several countries (yeah, they even removed the order button from their website for that phone or if it is still there it just says out of stock for all variants) :\.

I would pre... morePeople have been taught the notion of more is always better.. 8 GB of RAM on a smartphone is useless as of now. Maybe it's future proof, I guess but other hardwares (SoC) will eventually become outdated. The most amounts of RAM is consumed by graphics rich games, and obviously there's no way you can play 2 games simultaneously, even if you were to run them side by side on multiwindow mode. Since Android is the most fragmented OS ever, it's not possible to optimize an application for a particular smartphone. I've seen on many phones that the RAM management throws a game out of the RAM and it doesn't start from where you left it. Good RAM management is better than having more free RAM which won't ever get used..

                            One plus 5 , cheaper and better. what are these people smoking ?

                              Typically, and sadly they won't provide any upgrade possibilities. If only we could deliver the 4gb version back and only pay the difference in price.
