One+ is no different than it's siblings. I have two one +5 with my cousins. Both the devices have software problems almost same type and that too on regular basis. Every time one+ releases update, we have problems to be sorted out.
OPPO VIVO are very common with my friend circle who are from builders lobby. They feel OPPO VIVO GIONEE offers good value for quality equivalent to iPhone. But now they are realizing that how wrong they were. No updates, no fixes and absolutely pathetic looking within few months of buying. And frequent visits to service centers.
On other hand me and my brother use Xiaomi phone Redmi 1s as our work horse. Absolutely no problem from past 3+ years. Never had to visit service center even once. Recently we switched to Xiaomi Mi A1.

Vic4BBM, 20 Oct 2017I would never like to gift OPPO VIVO GIONEE or ONE+ to anyo... moreThis theory is right if based on Oppo and Vivo,but not quite for Oneplus.You see,although Oneplus 5 is a bit more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 6,but in terms of specs both phones does deliver flagship specs,I love both flagship,but Oneplus and Xiaomi has their own advantage such as:
1.Oneplus 5 has a larger 5.5 inch Optic Amoled display,while Mi6 has a smaller 5.15 inch display.Both phones has identical displays,its just Oneplus 5 has a larger screen.For me whom prefers bigger display,Oneplus 5 is my priority
2.While Xiaomi Mi 6 is is smaller,both Mi 6 and the Oneplus 5 has very identical flagship performance,and Mi6 does have an advantage of being cheaper than the Oneplus 5 while offering the same flagship experience
So,even though Oneplus 5 is a bit expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 6,but Oneplus 5 does lived up to its price tag,both phones are able to deliver flagship performance while still nearly half the price of what Samsung flagships wanted

If affordibility is what you are looking for then Xiaomi is best buy - affordable price and absolute no nonsense performance.
