            The screen size is 5.5 not 6 and it is ips lcd still with qhd and the ratio is quite strange as it is 2500x1440 the phones size is 154x76x9.2 which is shorter than u11 but thicker and about 3mm wider, the same exact specs as u11 except buttons are on screen fingerprint under the camera, no camera or flash hump, 3830mah battery, the same main camera but front camera is 8mp with autofocus and ois but fhd not 4k, same ip67, boomsound from bottom grill and earpiece and the same components included in box including usonic headphones, there is minimal bezels on the bottom and a thick bezel on the top, its not 16:9 however its not as tall is 18:9 but we will see pretty soon.

              they are pioneer the front facing speaker.. and everyone loves it... but now they ditch it? HTC digging their own grave.. it is so ugly when the top screen is square.. but the bottom are round cornered.. awkward shape..

                  Why? A bottom bezel is useful! Holding a phone low down is not ergonomic and usually leads to a pinky balance thing going on. Ideally for me phones should have enough of a top bezel to house sensors, camera and led notification (5mm min or so), and the bottom bezel should be around 10mm. That is bezel-less enough!

                    However, the only thing that cannot be are speakers... they require a physical hole/grill.
                    Which is why phones should have some bezels on both sides.
                    The earpiece/speaker on the Sharp Crystal and Xiaomi Mi Mix were horrible, and the side-firing performance of new devices like G6, S8, iPhone 7 are all sub-par especially when compared to 2016's ZTE Axon 7.

                        I am very skeptical that the bottom has no bezel. It is probably a run-of-the-mill small bezels phone, with both top and bottom bezels.

                          Still waiting for the day when everything will be embedded inside the screen be it the proximity sensor, light sensor, front camera, earpiece so that the entire face of the phone would just be a screen!

                              This is not consistent with the images and dimensions given in the previous news. Looking closely at the photo, there IS a bezel at the bottom.
