Enjoy i blocked this crappy instant google app from installing on my phone.
Can't wait the good thing that will happen, when they take control of this service !

HTML5 "Web apps"? Absolutely not. Either it can run completely offline and standalone or it has no business being on my phone. And I don't really see the point of a "demo" or "tryout" if it is by definition only part of the app of interest - if it's the full app it might make some sense.

The idea is that the stats show users only really sit in a few apps like facebook, instagram, messenger, whatsapp, etc.. Even if they have imdb it is more convenient for them to search on the web and then go to the website. Search is the first habit. You install apps but may just forget about them.
Instead you search and you can load imdb as if it was a website but now it has access to the native os api. It's a progression of the web and apps. You combine the best of both worlds.

Power of clouds, soon, devices will be without any internal storage and you will stream everything from clouds. And you will be completely depended on corporations. Future looks grey for consumers

How to enable instant apps in Lenovo P2? I've update to nougat and even updated all the apps still no sign of instant apps. While my nexus 7 running marshmallow has instant apps.

Just because some company use it it doesnt mean that they invented it.
Its like saying that Apple invented app store, like there was no separate site with apps and games before... People today have really short memory, and want to remember just things that they read on some sites for past 10 years...

well we've stored our photos and files on the cloud , we stream music and movies from the cloud and now we have instant apps which I think is the future of mobile apps , so yeah the headphone jack is gone, physical sim gone too, micro SD expansion as well so probably the next thing to be removed it's gonna be the internal storage and CPU since everything is stored and processed on the cloud. and this will help so much with the development of the flexible phones since all that's needed it's a display , an antenna and a battery wrapped in a rubbery frame. like it or not this is the future
