LG brings a dual-screen QWERTY droid like you've never seen

16 June, 2011
The Android-based LG phone you are about to see is a pretty standard smartphone until the moment you slide out the QWERTY keyboard. There you'll find another touchscreen right in the middle of it...

the 2nd screen can be usefull for icons in word / excel applications. additional screen estate is always a welcome.

The second screen might be more useful in this arrangement.

I say, this is totally cool... give the credits to LG, they always think out of the box, and also a big risk taker... but they are sure on the right track on the mobile industry

AnonD-9017, 16 Jun 2011You want a stylish smart phone? Me too! Do as I did, buy an Arc... moreOnce upon a time in a galaxy far far away, the korean company designed the samsung sgh-f210 which was so epic design wise i have had 3 and the last one i still have as a reminder.

I think it's very smart move from lg quite unique..
I don't know how much it gonna affect battery life but if L.G has added a sec screen, there would be some good reasons behind it. Maybe we can do multitasking like
watch MOVIE on primary screen & do our official stuff on lower 1..

It's copying NintendoDS! And its gonna fail miserably.

lg"s screen really rocks!

But will it blend ?

lg make good tv's????????? what ever gave you that idea

A second screen is only going to further reduce battery life, while its use will always be limited. What would you want to have shown on a secondary screen that is not *visible* until it is really used, when you have a primary screen that can hold anything you want??

This is like developing technology and finding a purpose afterwards. Odd

sure it's unique/different/weird/whatever but is the screen in the middle useful? will it be worth it or will it just get in the way because it made the keypad smaller?
