AnonD-429807, 24 Oct 2017Redesigned UI you say? https://i.imgur.com/cbAUYtt.png ... moreSome people like using stock for performance issues and safety issues. You'll never know a 3rd party app collecting your data or not.

AnonD-27765, 23 Oct 2017Sony need to ditch their Xperia UI which looks extremely da... moreSony UI is excellent, fast and responsive, and being close to stock android, changes with every build update just as android UI changes, adding sth extrabof its own.
Sony doesnt need to change anything on request of people that are not even their users and probably never will be, like for example some Samsung fboys that constantly troll Sony threads.

60ez, 24 Oct 2017lol. 8 months just to fix software problem.
haahaahaa than... moreYou trolls give yourself too much selflove.
First of all, you are only web deadweight, nothing more nothing less.
Second of all, for issue reports there are real users, not trolls. Trolls dont own device, they just pickup stories over the web, and use them for their own ego tripping.
Third, camera distortions are not bugs or any kind of software issue, to befit your dictionary opus. Bugs and software issues are related to things not working properly that can be rectified by updates. Camera distortions are technical sideffects of wide FOV lenses on cameras of any kind, not just mobile...and can only be lessened, ie artificially rectified by software, on users that notice it request....
Samsung added it, now Sony added it on user request.
You can turn it on if you wish, or not.
Sth other OEMs didnt add to their camera options, whilst all still having cameras that create distortions.

Alien , 23 Oct 2017My Xperia Z (the first) is still being used every single da... moreYeah I'm still rocking my Z too, 4 years on and still chugging away. Only issue with mine is the front cam has stopped working but I don't really use it anyway. I'm in the same position as you, a lot of phones have came on since the Z and really not too much of an upgrade to be honest. I mean my Z has HD 1080 screen whenever there are iPhones still shipped with 720p. People laughed back then that the Zs HD screen was useless yet now it's more than relevant. I love this phone!

AnonD-27765, 23 Oct 2017Sony need to ditch their Xperia UI which looks extremely da... moreCompletely subjective. Most users like the clean and minimalist UI of Sony. Clutter free with good optimization.
