Google Pixel 2 users reporting high-pitched and clicking sounds with their units

While Google hasn't officially said anything on the issue, a support staff - for what it's worth - said a fix for the issue will arrive sometime next week.

seems like Google going a step backwards here, they suppose to improve from last years pixel not this, my pixel can last another year until Google sort their stuff out

            There is only one explanation....aliens....

              Dpr reported problems with screen color on different phone units and now this. And google wants to charge iPhone prices. LoL fail!!
