FYI, bezelless also reduce the selfie quality, because it can only use a smaller camera lens to fit in the bezel-less.

But we also expect Sony to have it corrected by default, and at the point of release of the phone. Not release an update to fix it months after the release, and not have it enabled by default. Even in professional cameras, distortion correction is enabled by default.

Once the glass is broken, the shards can pierce through the panel. No amount of bezels will save the screen. Anyway with and without bezels, the glass has the same chance of breaking when you drop the phone.

Sure, it is possible that a large distortion would considerably affect the whole image, but, in this case, it seems that the effect is localized mainly in the center of the picture ence, there sould be non need to affect peripheral pixels.
BTW, you should also take in consideration a lot of other factors before talking about crop and similar, because you'd always see a post-processed image since sony doesn't support raw format (alas!).

Anyone that does photo editing will know that when you correct distortion it will also crop the image. No thanks.

I am too, I choose stereo sound quality over simple slight volume bump.
But it doesnt change the fact that mini hifi stereo device is just better tech than mono FM wakeup clock.

When dropped on its side, the Galaxy S8, S8+, and Note 8 are all of higher chance of screen damage due to the fact that there is little to no protection at all to the screen on the sides.

Even then the speakers are more than loud enough in the past.
After all, stereo sound is a must for flagships, and anyone without it is considered "weak."

Try stick to S8 and LG V30, this are awesome phones, dont believe in DxOmark..haha

This should not even be an option. So Sony thinks the distortion is acceptable? The correction should be automatically applied to every photo taken.
