That is because price of iPhone X is to low. Apple did not estimated demand and give it right price. iPhone X is worth much more in customer eyes than its really priced.

My thoughts are, they could of just done online and sold them all but they want the buzz back at the shops because iphone 8 it made news nobody really was queuing

Even the co-founder said he wont buy this iphone x on the first day. He is not confident of the FaceID. The interest on this phone have drop down a lot. I also recently read that Tim Cook going to leave Apple and already considering few people to replace him. Well, cant say we didnt see this coming.

could this be a deliberate marketing ploy by Apple in order to generate more interest in the phone...............create a deliberate shortage.........e.g. reverse psychology.

With that amount, I'd rather buy a Note 8. You can really do bigger things with it . I dont need hype but does not deliver anything techie.

Not just with X but every release they make a huge fuzz over it and make a not-so-wow feature into a super wow. I used to own an iPhone. I love the simplicity of it but that's it! I need more. I want to do more. And android came to save me.
