I stopped using it when I got fed up on thinking what account I had with it after MSN connected with skype I had 2-3 different accounts. But well it's the time when My country sold Skype to MS.

It's a shame that Skype Lite isn't available in all countries... But if you download it from somewhere else it works anyway. ;-)

And still sucks hard, takes a lot of time to load each time on a high end device.

Any break down on these numbers? Seems a little high given I don't know of any Asian companies using Skype (internally or working with customers). Maybe all of the phone devices are counted and not actual people?

Anonymous, 25 Oct 2017People still use Skype?Apart from the story itself, Skype for Business is also becoming the bedrock of intra company communications. The company I work for uses Skype messenger for meetings, messaging, telephone calls etc., as an example.
I know of multiple Fortune Global 500 companies who use Skype (for Business) the same way
