Poor Sammy. Can't even get oreo this year. But ok, there is a lot of bloatware to tweak.

AnonD-632062, 25 Oct 2017Will the Note FE (Note 7) get it?I hope, I have one. But if Note FE will get it, it will be in a later stage, the most popular selling phones and the flagship will first get it, and they already have to wait long.

I believed all the hype till I bought an iPhone. iOS users only have quick updates to talk about, nothing else.

Hahaha ... Samsung has always been shit with software upgrade.
It says early 2018 ... I say after Google released Android P.

Poor Android fans, they dont get updates very often and when they do these updates come like 5 month later.

Alien , 25 Oct 2017Ouch! Sony already released Oreo to XZ Premium, while XZ1 ... moreThey just released it for the xzp and dont have nearly as many phones or as feature packed and functional a UI to work with.
And it's not like you are missing out on anything really. The software is still ahead of most phones that have oreo.
But they do need to start picking up the speed. Higher more people into the software team or something.

This is exactly why we should decide towards devices with pure or almost pure Android when buying a new phone: Pixel, Moto, Nokia, HTC, Sony. It's ridiculous that such giant companies like Samsung or LG are unable to prepare the update in 2-3 months.

                    Ouch!
Sony already released Oreo to XZ Premium, while XZ1 and XZC have Oreo out of the box.
Geee, Sammy may be no 1 in sales (we all know they are flooding the market with low and mid phones), but when it comes to updates they are on the bottom of the list. Not to mention older models.
You'd expect more from them when being asked 1000 Euros for a phone.
Looks like I'm going with Sony. Again.

AnonD-632062, 25 Oct 2017Will the Note FE (Note 7) get it?I'd be surprised if it does. The Note FE is just a way for Samsung to try and recoup a fraction of the disaster that the Note7 cost them. I think they're done with it now.

What's sad to realize is that these amazingly powerful Android beasts of 2017 will stop just after they reach the Android P upgrade.
