Question. Are those guys from youtube who does phone reviews are paid by samsung? Is it possible that review comparison of phones from thier channels is infavor of Samsung?....... Hmmmmmm

    I'm a sucker for displays. I don't need to upgrade yet this year from a Nexus 5 but I can't stand its low contrast ratio and still bright display at lowest setting. The display of the S8+ did not disappoint except the curved panel/edges.

      burn displays as always. even on the stores where you can find the phones you can see the burn on the screen. spend money wisely. me i can buy any smartphone anytime but just for testing purposes only then throw it after.

          Samsung is above everything else, if you upset about it, maybe you should get one and stop worrying about **** screens and low quality of your phone

            agree ! samsung has world's best display panel yet ! but not over here ! LG(V30 , G6) nd Sony (1st 4K panel on smartphone Xperia Z Premium ) has too !

                I feel IPS and OLED both have their pros and cons. OLED is likely getting more popular since it is plastic and more flexible/versatile in terms of application, i.e. curved screen, screen with cutout like iPhone X, etc.

                            Samsung will migrate to a better display? Like what? They're gonna use Crystal LED?
                            As far as I know, only that display tech can beat any OLED, and Sony already has it, too.

                            It's just your thinking that everything starting with letter "J" is slow and behind Samsung. JDI also manufactured some panels for both Samsung and LG back then, until they became independent with enough production capacity on their own.
                            Huawei is also using JDI screens for years.
                            Sony is the biggest beneficiary from JDI, hence why they get the best of JDI.

                                      It's like saying that everyone should know that Samsung helped Qualcomm to manufacture the SD835 so that Samsung won't have to bother fixing the screen issues on their devices (yes, there are many issues on Samsung screens. Stop being a fool and be open on the news).
