Apple have now kicked open that 1000 door, and Samsung will not be able to help themselves but follow merrily on though.
I'd bet good money that 2018 sees a Galaxy S9 with a £700+ starting point, around £850 for whatever plus variant there is, and then £1000 or higher for the Note 9.

With apple they are just exploiting rich fans which every company does or dream for it. I don't understand why would someone pay such a high price for pixel 2 phones as both models are ugly, delicate and with poor screen quality. Other than software and camera there is almost nothing to brag about. Consumer should start to use their own brain otherwise companies will continuously increase their prices without adding any value to their products.
