[deleted post]Whoa, that's really tough to decide. Both are trying really hard, to their fullest extent, to get the ugliest phone title. The Pixel 2's back has to be the most ugly phone back, ever. The front is also horrible, with bezels big enough that you could land a Boeing 787.
But Apple has... THE NOTCH XD
In terms of sheer uglyness, I'd say the notch really beats ANYTHING out there, even horrible miscreant abominations like the Pixel 2 XD

I don’t mind the notch at all. I didn’t even notice it until news articles began pointing out how “hideous” it is. I personally love the roundness of the x—I saw S8’s displayed at the AT&T store last night, so I got to see them hands on. They look and feel like graham crackers, in their shape. Square corners, flat back broken only by that big, black, cyclopian chunk of camera smack in the middle...not my thing. Apple spends literal years researching how to incorporate the perfect aesthetic appeal into their products, and if we don’t focus on one tiny slip-up then we might actually begin to notice how beautiful Apple devices really are.

The industry is going there soon so why don't you just make it right now, specially, from the sides because i can understand the top which is the camera where it sits but the other places don't have a justification specially from the sides. iPhone X's sides should be more like Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra's sides.

love love the design. Apple sure knows how differentiate itself from competition. They knew that this design will stand out. Practically most bezel less phones coming out look like a clone S8. This is coming from an S8 plus owner, when I bought the phone I wanted to stand out and for it to be a status symbol, now even cheaper Oppo & Vivo phones look like it.
I hope Apple got a patent on this design because I will be jumping ship.

2: with these prices cases are needed... even just a bumper so that 2mm you are crying about wont mean anything. I know many don't use cases but many others would never use a $1000 phone without one.
While I will admit the iphone X is awesome it is far from a superior phone

Last year for the iPhone 7 people ordered the phone in late September and they were still waiting for it in January. This year with the less production of the iPhone X I wont be surprised if people are still waiting in March or April.

As much as I am an Android fan, I have to admit, the iPhone X is just years ahead of any Android hardware regarding design and the full-screen feeling. Android manufacturers have been caught with their pants down, with half-assed designs with 2mm narrower bezels that they call "bezel-less"...

-Revolutionary near bezel-less (still worse screen to body ratio than competition)
-Revolutionary display (obviously not)
-Revolutionary fast charging (but no fast charger in the box, not even 5V/2A charger, competetion provides fast chargers since ages)
-Revolutionary wireless charging (competition has it since ages)
-Revolutionary most durable glass ever (a big BIG FAIL)
-Revolutionary camera (nope, competetion has equally good cameras, even better)
-Revolutionary lightning audio jack for better audio instead of 3.5mm (yeah ok)
-Revolutionary ditching of Fingerprint reader (......)
-Revolutionary pricing (first phone to cost over 100k INR)
