Sony Ericsson never bluffs... If this model is coming out soon then the samsung galaxy, lg optimus 2x & motorola atrix will be outrunned! Just imagine Sony Ericsson - best quality mobile brand with superb display quality, bravia engine, dual-core processor, tegra 2 etc it would even outrun the iPhone 5 i think!

This will actually make a great eBook reader. I find anything under about 4" makes my eyes hurt after too long. As long as you turn the brightness down for extended periods. Amazon droid app will look nice.

SE needs to release this phone by the end of this year. It'll sell like hot cakes. Maybe even hotter then hot cakes =D

Fongy, 20 Jun 2011Better late than never!
Let's hope that they can build on ... moreare you still living in 2010?
SE released Arc&Play in under 4 months after the announcement.
With the LATEST available software. Only other phone running gingerbread at that time was google nexus s.
As for updates, they promised to learn from their mistakes and will promptly keep their high end phones up to date, in the future.
Also they are the only firm to have updates for a product during 2 full years(xperia x10-gingerbread officially announced for late summer!)
So stop trolling about SE anymore.
As for this phone, i think it will come with the new Krait cored Snapdragon (2x1.5Ghz), chip announced also to run in the nexus 3.
And the case will be(as visible from the photo) around the same size as the Arc, which will make 4.5 screen easily usable.
That slimness probably means a 8mp camera though, since the 16mp exmor s sensor is twice bigger and would make this phone too massive.

It looks just like the Arc, so i dont understand why all the hoopla over its beauty. It nothing new looks-wise. hope there is a duo version out for the Neo size. Also 4.5 inch screen is too big to be of practical daily use, not to mention what it'll do to the battery.

AnonD-2075, 20 Jun 2011you are comparing sony ericsson with MOTO!!!....XD..are kid... moreI'm not comparing Moto and SE because free the original Droid in 2009 to Moto Photon and the upcoming Bionic, Moto is the best in general aspect and not to mention that Moto sold more android phone than SE. The Moto Tegra 3 is coming ...

Oh well... don't feel the need for a dual core at the moment and I love my Arc but after this I almost regret buying it and why? Because my old K810i was still in so good shape I could keep it another year till this one came around. But then again the arc should be more than enough for my needs for the next 3 or 4 years. ;)
Well done Sony Ericsson! I want to say to Samsung «Who's your daddy?».
And to add insult to injury, this phone will be out just as the dual core will be needed and will be starting to make sense with the new android ready for it.
Well done, very well done!

When the arc came out and i saw how beautiful it is, it made me think for a second, do i get the arc or sgs2, but im gettin the sgs2 coz of the specs as the arc is just like my sgs so i wouldnt be upgradin really, but the design of the arc is the best lookin fone out there, so i wished they up'd the specs. Now this leek is out, its made me think twice about the sgs2, i have a month till my upgrade so chop chop SE :-)

I hope this pushes the ARC prices down. I don't need a dual core, I just need a good solution at a reasonable prize. For me a cheaper ARC ticks all boxes.

Please hurry SE, big bucks is waiting for you! You don't need to be on top of the race. Instead, just get even with the power of Galaxy S II and release that Duo ASAP and I will hold my $ for you.

I reckon Sony Ericsson will move to ST-Ericsson NovaThor SoCs soon. Qualcomm is just too common and it makes sense from the Ericsson side of things!
