I am starting wish I had one of these... although the G6 Plus IS cooler, better, and more. However, how far off can the G7 (and G7 Plus if they make one) be?

I do have a Nexus 5 and 5X though.
I knew about going in, but I needed a phone that week and the deal was too good to ignore. And the software turned out to be "not horrible". I had some/very little hope, since there's a huge bounty to whomever gets r00t on the H870DS....

It's their politic and they don't care a sh** if their customers ask for that. It has been like this for years.

I was told it has one, and the car I was going to buy had wireless charger factory installed.
But I got rid of my wireless charger before, and didn't buy the new car.
So I can't test it out : (
Just note, quick charging with the LG G6 is a little finicky.
I doesn't support some/all chargers and cables.

More importantly than getting Android 8.0 Oreo update to the LG G6, is to actually attain r00t access to the popular models H870DS, H870K, H870S, H871, H872, VS998........
In particular the H870DS model, as it comes in all 3 colours, is very cheap online from Hong Kong, has the wireless charger, has the QuadDAC, has the higher 64GB internal memory, and has a DualSIM slot. It's the best model, and without a doubt the OnePlus 5 killer. But its bootloader locked with no possible way to unlock.

G4 were spotted with Nougat and promised to be updated. Then few months after they quietly abandoned g4 support and declined nougat update for g4. So that spotted lg phones doesn't mean anything. Worst support in the world.
