But for a same price why whould anyone take 660. About the support and comunity just think how many phones are there with 630 and 660 compared to 820-821. All drivers all custom roms, everything will support 82x for years. My old Galaxy S3 has working android 7.1.2 only because GS3 were sold in milions.

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2017No, Moto X4 is a better choice, almost same spec with large... moreConsidering that there's a chance that this will be SD660 a 2600mah battery will surely suffice moderate use (more efficient chipset). Plus HTC has really good battery optimization, this is a steal.

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2017So you'd take SD 630 over sd821 just cos its year old. PS... morei would take any 630/660 from this year with at least 2 years update than an SD820/SD821 that the last update will be android 8 and it have only minor updates 2 times a year. i value more software than speed....i'm a programmer i know the difference software can make on day to day use. if you only care about brute force and specs...yes..samsung s7 is a much better buy right now than any motorola X4 or htc u11 life. in any case, my suggestion is for any SD835 from this year...it is a huge step from last year 820. not in speed, because any 625 and up you will get a smooth performance (with stock android or near stock android) but in the battery department that we use everyday. SD835 is made with 10nm vs 14nm or even 25nm...that is a night-day difference. i've both and SD820 and an SD835 and i can't recommend to anyone any SD820..the difference in price justify the SD835 in all departments...this year flagships obliterate last year flagships. i've htc 10 and htc u11. htc 10 loses in all departments for a big margin. htc u11 have a much better display even if on paper they have the same tecnology, much better performance, infinite better on photos when htc 10 was already on of the bests on 2017...compared to htc u11 photos are like a mid level device. battery life (my favorite upgrade) is double better. i never ever had a day that i was worried about not ending a day without battery. htc u11 (like all sd835) are beasts on that department. not having to worry about battery all the day..and using the phone whenever you want for whatever you need....that only for me justify the upgrade...all rest are bonus.

I'm tired of the HTC U series look...and the bezels as well.
HTC can still excuse themselves this year but if we see the same amount of bezels again next year, they deserve to lose money.

My S7 Edge and Mi 6 are better than this at the same price. My brother's Mi Note 3 too. We bought them around 400$ each. This even doesn't has OIS, mid range SoC and in my taste looks vulgar, anything less elegant. Even a Zenfone 4 is better option. For what they offer at that price I see it too expensive.

Looks beautiful. Keep looking at that black green hue. Chipset is plenty fine too. Price ok, I paid more for my A9, so I reckon it's pretty good. Finish is premium look. Like the camera better than the one my. Look forward to November 2

I would not buy a 3GB RAM version. 4GB, sure. Whatever happened to the Snapdragon 660 rumor?

Too expensive for those specifications. It has a very strange form. It is not attractive. You can paint it pink, burgundy or the color you want, which will still not be attractive. It is not because of the color, it is because of the shape and proportions it has, how its components are located and in what proportion with respect to its size, etc.

Its a brilliant colour, that is very hard to pull off. Looks gross when you can't, looks nice when you can.

How ugly. I would not spend that amount of money on a phone so horrible ever. In addition, except for the Android stock its characteristics are of a current average range. And a battery of 2600 mAh ridiculous. What a mania to take the Android One phones so expensive. Does Google take commission? Or they want to tease us? Only the Xiaomi A1 is reasonably priced. The others are a robbery.

t-mobile has this at $300 full retail price.

ofc you never had an htc before. quality is 10x better than any other android brand even comparing to sony or samsung on price/quality provided (lg doesnt count they suck on quality). design is also 10x better than motorola 4x. sound quality is very good and very good earphones on the box. it's expensive if you compare to crap Chinese phones. if you compare it to s7 for example, s7 last upgrade will be oreo. htc u11 life will be the first update. if you only value specs yes, s7 is a much better buy. pixel 2 is pretty much overpriced but it has one thing that others cant provide....updates and last android version always present. that have value for some. i would never buy a last year premium device only because they will suck on updates, not because they are slow, or outdated design.
