How can I revert to the last version, this version has way too big of a footprint on my desktop.

    the new version of Skype for windows 7 sucks. It is so bad and I think I have find alternative to replace it. It is pity such a good software is destroyed by Microsoft.

          Yeah, this is horrible. Was horrible on Android. Now they are doing it everywhere. Skype is crazy to think they can somehow become the new Snapchat. People use Skype to make calls. Now that they have made this difficult to use, people are just going to switch to other apps.

          I'm hoping everyone will start using Wire (which ironically is created by the original creator of Skype). It has a simple elegant interface. Works on all platforms. Is open source. And is end to end encrypted using the same backend encryption as Signal. (Skype is of course closed source and owned by Microsoft, so almost certainly has a back door for the NSA.)

            Was shocked when I saw that the Android app for skype passed 1 billion downloads and then it is also available for PC, MacOS, IOS, and Linux.

                  aaand it sux. like on android :(
                  the old app was far more powerful. i dont care for "slick ui" when its less useable...

                    We used to use Skype to communicate with everyone in our company, but so many messages were delayed, we now use Line instead.

                      when i go to site launch no working??

                        I personally like the new UI design a lot, but who else thinks Skype is unrecognizable to an extent, except for the logo/icon?

                          I personally don't use Skype except the business app for official purpose. But any app in black theme is always a welcome.
                          Apple are you listening? How hard is it to put a dark theme here and there?
