It's funny how people recommend buying Chinese phones saying nokia's are expensive. Did they teach you enocomics at school? There are taxes, there is shipment cost, there is patents cost (since nokia's phones are sold not in china). The reason xiaomi doesn't sell their phones in Europe or USA is because their prices would fly so high up.

8gb internal memory is no problem. Micro SD cards are super cheap now.

That snapdragon 200-series badly needs to be updated.
A 2015 budget SoC will probably neither deliver in performance nor enegry efficency.
Also, Nokia should update the Nokia 5 and 6 to new models with Snapdragon 450.

Take what you like. Most are a lot better hardware. Yeah you don't get best new android with it. But that's only a OS that should not be the problem.

why waste time money and effort on a handset with only 1gb ram. Them days are gone 2gb minimum. it will be a right stuttery thing once you get it loaded with apps. shame really could of been a half decent low/mid phone.

It's not made in Finland that it deserves to be Finnish phone. There are lots of good brand companies that let just some Asian factory set up there design and then call it there own and so I the brand name was made by Americans then the product must have a sign on it that says "Made is USA " ? Design of the case is made by brand but all the rest is made not by them.

What about Nokia 7? Why the hell Nokia do delay in good smartphones? I was looking forward to purchasing Nokia 7. Indian Masses need a good Mid Ranger neither budget friendly nor high-end flagship. Because Mid Ranger can be afford and worth spending.

It'll make serious difference in real world use, especially that 16gb internal for social media use.

It's seems pretty nice, it's affordable nokia with good sized 5", great 4100 mAh battery, and um good luck opening chrome 1 gb ram, forget using more than one social media 8 gb internal, and a freakin our software no longer support 32bit SoC SD 212.
Sure it's a "affordable" phone, but its beyond low spec for late 2018 phone that may cause real use difficulty (8gb internal with maybe 3 gb left to use and whatsapp will fill that 3gb easy, not to mention its 1 gb ram).
This fell to sure its cheap but i can't recommend it version of "affordable" phone.
Also, while real world benefits are vary from software to software but how the hell Nokia still manage to produce smartphone 32bit SoC in 2018
