Lagos, 31 Oct 2017So you're suggesting they lose money doing business? You sh... moreYou understand economy.

BTW, if Apple [{(and likes)}] tries to make profit of you, it's your and only your loss, and not the loss of the Head the that said company. And the employees won't get paid extra for that royalty money that they'll extort from you. Alas!

I'm feeling really bad for your employer.

It is fine however, to sue others for troll patents like "square phone with rounded edges design".

Not surprised about that move by Apple. After all greedy corporations don't like other greedy corporations stealing their sales.

'bout time. Apple's immense profits gave Qualcomm a standing that she should not have. That way she grew lazy on the SoC development front, living androids 2 years behind where they could be. They think themselves as "modem first" company because of the immense contracts (mostly with Apple), if those cease to be , they may return into SoC chip making and start to compete again ... maybe ... hopefully.

QC made a huge mistake not buying Imagination Technologies because they would had a hocus pocus yorker card in their pocket to turn Apple SoC's in to the black silicone. My ass did Apple made a GPU from ground's up not violating Imaginations patents portfolio (God knows whose else). Closed source property PNX micro kernels for QC QDSP modems aren't something Apple can handle without supporting software (no one cans). So they have to shift but again any radio still can't without dozen QC patents. Huaweia is closest in competition now (when they ditched CEVA DSP's for it)...

                        Greedy Apple.

This is just Apples way of destabilising Qualcom to then devalue it and take it over and then take all the patents and then Apple can have more 'Innovating phones' !

Apparently the Iphone X feels like the future lol! I hope not because Apple cant trasfer files with bluetooth . If Apple is the future then we must be going back to the dark ages.

If you look closely at the profit figures you`ll see that they make about 40-50 billions each year. So building a facility for OLED panels and CPU will be a piece of cake, the R&D however, different story.

10 years later iphone 8 look the same. Come on. Like dropping Qualcomm gonna make iphone any better. In house GPU and OLED? Go ahead. Even the world largest oled manufacturer cant supply enough for every device. Apple thinks they can pull it off? How much moee money to build the facilities? More than the spaceship campus? I bet iphone gonna be priced $2000 to build the facilities.
