I clap for Nokia, this is really what people where looking for and to be honest this is the peoples design because they took a survey about what phone would the people would like and a sketch came out that look almost like N9.

*Anyways i have one note if anybody from Nokia is reading, dont delay this device from launch, if it gets a couple of months old the processor will look outdated by then.

AnonD-10946, 21 Jun 2011It's not that Nokia chose not to take the Android route, it... morecool. I am glad that it didn't work out between nokia and android because the android name would have taken over the nokia name.

I am very aware of nokia windows road map. the meeGO os would be better as the primary OS though. Nonetheless, it is nice that nokia has included the long awaited meeGO OS as a side road on its windows roadmap.

End of the day, it's good and benefit more for the consumer with more choices. I don't believe in blind loyalty or paying an over price phone but believe in good quality features that can match our different needs.

AnonD-1906, 21 Jun 2011Meego going to be use by other corporation also like Lg hua... moreActually Nokia did not speed up Meego development because they realized it is applicable to only very-high end of their portfolio of mobiles. It requires more CPU, more memory and more battery even from Android. You can not meet HW requirements with mid or low-end mobiles (i mean smartphones). That's why they announced some time ago they will not put meego on mass market. The thought Meego will compete with Android on all market fronts and finally defeat it is quite wrong.. It may try to kill iPhone, but i doubt.. the latter has very strong fan-base.
Anyway UI looks promising. And multitasking potential is enormous - for those 10 people who really need it.

                                    N9's Processor: ARM Cortex-A8 OMAP3630 1 Ghz, PowerVR SGX530

Same as the upcoming Nokia WP7 Mango phone.
