It makes more sense for you to stick with the N8 does it not? N8 has better camera, just as large storage capacity, and web browsing shouldn't be too much of trouble since you can use Opera and you care not for flash?

Also Nokia has indeed said that this will be an experimental venture they will not be "supporting" this device in a true sense; their main focus would be more likely on WP7.

i love this phone and surely it will be my next phone no matter how much it costs .it is the best ui i have ever seen (better than android dont tell me about the widgets because they are not needed any more.it has the best multitasking around .i dont care about the luck of apps (hope this will change in the future) as i only use the phone for hearing to music taking photos browsing the web(i do not want flash as i prefer watching the videos on my PC because it is easier and more pleasant to whats on a big screen) and playing games like angry birds and fruit ninja (if i want to play HD games i grub my psp as it has better controls) .As for the support from Nokia i believe they want let it as they did with the n900 which was intended for developers and not the consumer market .

AnonD-1393, 22 Jun 2011LOL. How about you do your homework?! "Swype" bel... moreYeah, my missunderstood of swipe and I apologize for it. But for the swipe thing already exist in android APps which I am using. is Go Launcher and can swipe what ever page or icon or Apps like Meego already. So that's nothing new for android to follow.Android phone can skin what ever the way user lime and the way it move around.

AnonD-1393, 22 Jun 2011Swipe, not swype, and while swiping isn't anything new, the... moreAlthough its not possible to "swipe" a running process(app) into standby mode on android; it can however be done by pressing the home button. This can be looked at two different ways:

                  1. It is a neat feature

                  2. It is a useless feature as it looks tedious in that you have to swipe from edge of screen to edge of screen, if your finger is not on edge then it would just act as a flipping gesture and change videos, songs, pictures, or scroll left to right/up to down on a webpage.

I also felt a little let down as the trend seems to be going towards qHD resolution. Plenty of motorola android devices already use FWVGA so this resolution is not astonishing; this is probably likely due to the fact that the N9 is running a lesser powerful PowerVR 530 GPU instead of the 540 found on the Galaxy S and the 545 that is newest, as any higher resolution would probably take a serious hit in performance.
