But then Android OEMs are clearly catching up fast, with the optimizations in Android. Some like Sony, Huawei and Samsung have Stamina/Power Saving Modes that extend the battery life. They even have Ultra Stamina/Power Saving Mode in case you really need to extend your battery life, something Apple clearly hasn't even done yet.

My work phone is Android, while for personal I’ve been switching between iPhones and Android phone. Currently on the iPhone 7, looking to switch to the Pixel. Prior to this I was HTC 10, iPhone 6S before that, and HTC M9 before that, on and on...

RickGH, 03 Nov 2017Too many of them actually!! Sickening I am too getting sick of people coming to this page or any other iPhone related article/review and just start bashing apple products. Why ? if you hate apple dont click on pages containing info about them simple. I am not an apple fanboy nor am android fanboy, I just use a phone which accomplishes what I need it to do and both OS can do what I need out of them.
P.S. I have an iPhone 6s (camera, music, stable OS) and Redmi 4 (backup phone, android OS) and both are capable enough phones for daily use and I respect both companies for making such wonderful products which help me in my daily life. Peace..

So if Sony can do it I'm sure Apple can do it too,

And anyway, two battery means more space for battery expanding, therefore less of that fancy burning. Also two cells could be more reliable and could last longer than single cell battery.

C'mon people. Who cares if there are two batteries, or three, or five? Or even how big they are? All that matters is how much time a phone works on one charge.
