Anonymous, 22 Jun 2011I agree it doesn't need dual core. Android doesn't need it ... morecar makers have begun downsizing
    wouldn't you call that progress
unfortunately, android doesn't yet utilize a phone's hardware to its fullest. this phone (with n9) have a better chance for that.
its not the speed itself that counts, its how you use it
you can have quad-core on windows95, but it wouldn't make sense

Heck, we don't need mobile phones at all, and we have them. We also don't need super computers, but we have them. We don't need 3D TVs, and we have them. We don't even need gasoline or a space program, and yet we have them.
It's called progress man...and although we maybe don't need it, it's good to have it, otherwise we would still live in caves...salute

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2011Waow waow!!! Wait maaann. So how many apps nokia got ? 10? ... morewell you know.. there are people around which use mobile phones for work not for entertainment. To make it more understandable for you: there are people who need mobile phone first then PDA, then everything else. While apparently you need Gameboy(or PSP or whatever) + ipod + mobile phone (in that order of importance). Well.. Nokia preffer business people and do not supply gaming consoles.

Nokia should recapture the market and excel itself beyond android and iPhone.
                  Can't wait. :)

you should visit your GD immediately!

But until you make an appointment, you might want to do yourself a favor and educate yourself a little bit. For once, Nokia has the most complete list of productivity sw right build-in to the operating system. For anything beyond standard productivity, you surely will find an app for that. :)

Just sad how lazy people have become!
Did you ever think of looking in other places than the app store? Nokia legally allows side-loading, you know? Yet, you seem to be one of those "I-need-it-from-the-app-store" guys because you wouldn't be capable of copying an app and installing it yourself if your mom isn't around to help you - your 'certificate error' comment let's me see that now ... sad, really!

No need for all that extra power to make things run more smoothly. It has what is sufficent to outperform and give you great battery life. Nokia really did a outstanding job on this device and the innovations is truly there. The sleeping giant has finally woke up and rest assure there will be more to come. 64g is a bit of a over kill far as memory but hey, at least it's there and the different color options is quite refreshing

And they all give the most famous "certificate error". Haah. Well lets agree that half of iphone apps are useless. But wat does nokia has got to entertain u.? To make ur time good? Still that old bounce game ??? Or tetris 3d? Which is never 3d. Or that snake game with rubbish graphics.
And what about the other half of iphone apps which are useful? They give u accesibilty, productivity, utilities, 3d games with great graphics, thousand of ebooks, and on and on.....you cant bored with iphone and android. Nokia is total boring thing. Once u buy nokia then keep luking at it that sum kind of transformer robot would emerge from it and make you feel good. But sadly it wont. Lol.
Apps give you endless possibilities of doing whatever you kan do with ur phone. Mobile phone is for mobility, accesibility and fun. Not for being stopped by "certificate error again nd again.
And the useless apps of iphone or android (which u think are useless) still have no comparision to nokia's bouncy, snaky, tetrisi.
