650? I can't even imagine how people live up there with the inflation, let alone purchase a gimped phone like this! Trudeau needs a tax bill right away. About the phone, this will soon have the World's cheapest 360 camera at this rate. Essential needs more advertising budget(I saw the Sprint ads) in the states. About Canada, scrap the idea of selling it up there and import the thing. A phone like this only needs one importer at that $350 price point. Then again, I'm sure a Xiaomi importer already hit the market.

they didn't do research right, the only thing they did right is almost bezel less front.

doesnt bode well for a worldwide launch

The phone is good , however their main feature the camera is rubbish. You talk to people buying a s8, a iPhone 8, Sony xz1, they have brilliant cameras and it's at least 30%-50% of the draw to decide what phone you go for.
This was priced correctly ,below the Samsung, Apple, Pixel but the camera execution killed it off, and that was meant to be their standout feature along with bare Android software like pixels.

Trying to sell a newly branded product with a high-end price without the essential features like a headphone jack and an sd card is bound to fail. They should have tried to make a name for themselves first, establish their branding before they start dicking people around like apple did/does.

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2017Seems like nobody buys it. I would drop the price to $ 450 ... moreI've said from the beginning, the high-end is the only market segment where you can sell based solely on speedy upgrades - high-end phones are about the only ones getting upgrades to begin with.

NoToBrandLoyalty, 04 Nov 2017Lack of headphone jack + Lack of memory card slot + Unimpre... moreExcept camera, all of this is applicable to iphone x , I wonder how does that sell

It's just another Amazon phone friend, wait for few months and you will get it for few hundred dollars

Lack of headphone jack + Lack of memory card slot + Unimpressive camera + Terrible repairability (you basically have to destroy the screen to get to the battery or replace other internal components) + Features and specs found on many other phones at lower price + Price too high = Poor sales.

And they're wondering why it won't sell.

All you pessimists in the comments talking like big shots. This phone has done really well, it's the highest selling phone of all time apparently. The founders do laps in a pool of money every morning, yep there's no water in the pool. The company emerged it's own market faster than an emerging market and software updates were developed faster than a developing economy.

Seems like nobody buys it. I would drop the price to $ 450 so that at least the price would be a reason to buy it

The only reason i'd accept this phone if someone would give me one is so that i can sell it to a reseller.

If there was a 3.5 mm headphone jack i would have considered it seriously I'm not even kidding, they could have compensated lack of jack with at least decent water resistance. It a shame the build quality was good and got good hype too.

Within 45 days prices dropped to 500$ maybe further! They must release unlocked International editions, to gather momentum. Andys innovation I'll wither out, otherwise. If Chinese can sell mi max 2 millions, why not And!
