New Google Search feature lets you compare device specifications

06 November 2017
You just need to put in a query like 'Pixel 2 vs Pixel 2XL,' and Google will display a quick comparison chart.

Today is 9th of November of 2017 and this new search feature isn't working. Because I grabbed my smartphone, went into Google page and I wrote "Pixel 2 vs Pixel 2XL", but I didn't get the same result as shown in this article. Did I miss something. . .?

Hoping this will list actually important specs and won't be like

      processor: 8 cores
      camera: 12 MP
      RAM: 6 GB
      display: 1080 x 1920

If it doesn't match or beat the specs sheet here in gsmarena, it will be futile.
I got here in gsmarena because of the specs page.

So it's Google against all. They see a good idea and they copy it, just because they have the power to do it better.

Hope that if more devices get supported, they go on some reliable site to fetch that info. I still remember Google Assistant fetching answers to my questions on conspiracy theory websites.

And highlighting should only highlight the superior specs. That would help enhance clarity and make it more accessible to tech-illiterate persons that can't tell the diffrence between a Snapdragon, a dragon and MediaTek

                  Gsmarena vs Google??!! Hmm....

                  Battle of the G's.....

                    Nice

That's actually a pretty nifty feature. Would save me a lot of time and steps when looking at specs comparison. Well done, Google!

Google taking on one of GSMArena’s top features? Maybe, maybe not. But it was the device specifications bit and comparisons that drew me to GSMArena years ago. Another thing I’ve noticed is that if you type in, say, iPhone 7, GSMArena is the not first result or even among the top 5 most of the time, which wasn’t the case a couple of years ago. A search like “all Nokia phones” would inevitably show GSMArena as the top result. Not anymore.

                          Oh... pretty interesting.

So you're telling me we don't need GSMArena anymore?

I live in Minnesota and it is live for me on my S8.

Doesn't work for me tho. Maybe it's not yet in Denmark.

Google is showing all those results on top of all search results. Previously common search result gave those Google answer like 'this friday movie' with the rich result and now comparison. So, what's left for Bloggers?
Who will click on Search Results if such things are display by Google on top itself and top results get 95% of all click.
