I strongly believe Xiaome is got the power to defeat traditional brands. They are not afraid of innovation. The way to go through is gonna be wether they are able to provide technical support all around the world. That's why I believe they are not regarded as one of the most empowering phone manufacturerers. To become world class you need to reach all markets.

I do not know after-sales service in your country but in malaysia, very satisfactory. For example, after about nine months using mi max, the speakers and audio jacks do not work. I have sent to the xiaomi sevis center, within 2 days they have returned my phone where they have replaced the new motherboard. Perfectly deserved!

i would have gotten the xiaomi Mi6 if it wasn't for the import tax. The oneplus 5 was the more obvious choice and the least expensive. But i liked the Mi6 more mainly because of it's awesome build and the OIS. but i also like the all aluminium body of the oneplus 5 and the amoled display, and it's bigger.

They are different phones with unique design and quite different with the same SOC.
one is all glass and camera is embedded into the glass, OP5 the cameras stick out slightly which i dont like. Glass feels more premium but is more scatchable.
One key feature is that oneplus 5 still has that headphone jack which for me, is a must have. I watch all my videoclips/animes and music using my expensive headphones and charging the phone while listening feels premium to me.
I love the oneplus Dash charge, it's just mindblowing. After watching 2 animes 24min each i find myself having the battery from 5% to 70%.
i love the speaker loudness of the oneplus 5.
I also love the IPS panel on the Mi6 even tho i love the deep blacks on amoled.
Each one has they cons and pros, both are amazing. If i didn't had the OP5 i would have gotten the Mi6, and vice versa

I am a phone addict. My primary phone is the Note 8, but now I am using the Xiaomi MI A1 as my secondary phone and I can say that it is finally my Android Iphone. It”s extremely premium, and the pure android, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal memory, plus the screen that looks fabulous, makes the phone perfect, for 180 pounds. Well, it”s not waterproof, no iris scanner, but the fingerprint is extremely fast. I had hundreds of phones and all I can say is that I am waiting for a Mi Mix with pure android.

Tucking Fypo, 06 Nov 2017now it is time to focus on after sales. i have used 3 xiaom... moreYeah you're right about service. Rest assured their hardware is top notch for the price except for camera

Bought multiple products from Xiaomi and they are surprisingly impressive. I haven't bought a phone from them yet but I'm itching to get that Redmi Note 4 even if I have the S8+.
I'm itching to buy their earphones with the "PRO" branding which received good reviews despite having two $100 earphones already.

I wish them the best and continue the good work. I hope the quality and reliability of their products remains good or better.

Specially gps problem in all and network problem (recmi 2 and prime? And heating problem in all . But love miui features. But what's the use of mobile if it can't help in right situations. I tavell alot but gps many time fails. I used samsung(hangsum) mobiles but haven't faced any network or gps problem. Now using honor 6x and everything fine.

So stop bashing here.. Instead use once then you will understand how good xiaomi is.. If you don't want to use xiaomi mobiles then you don't have to comment about it

now it is time to focus on after sales. i have used 3 xiaomi phones and 1 tablet and know many users from friends and family. once you face an issue and you have to go to a service center it is like visiting UPSIDE DOWN from STRANGER THINGS. this is the only fear why i have been avoiding a flagship from xiaomi since last 2 years even though they make tempting hardware. but their accessories and lifestyle products are super good and extreme value for money. from towels to jackets to powerbanks each and every product screams quality.
