06 November 2017
This time the update comes with functional improvements too, aside from the security patches.

The update on the Pixel 2 brings you to the Nov 5 security patch level. So, incredibly stupidly, with this update Google has still not patched the Pixel 2 for the Krack vulnerability.

Why would they issue an update and have it be one day shy of the latest security patch? It's beyond me.

Anonymous, 07 Nov 2017What about the Motorola Nexus 6 :(Unfortunately nexus 6 is now off the security updates. Just like my 5x will be in a year from now. And just in time to miss the KRACK fix too. I advise you to install LineageOS, i'm not sure a phone with LineageOS is as secure as a phone with timely security updates, but it's better than to stay on the oct17 patch level for the remainder of the phone life.

            On this:
"These last ones might be the required fixes for the KRACK Wi-Fi vulnerability."

No need to speculate on what is in the three different packages, when it is clearly and officially described here:
            https://source.android.com/security/bulletin/2017-11-01

            That explicitly states:
Security patches for the KRACK vulnerabilities are provided under the 2017-11-06 security patch level.
