Dear Atrix users,
I have unlocked my atrix. my handset was from Singapore and i am really really really happy. 1st of all, there is a ginger bread custom rom. Its really fast and no network issues. Second, the battery life has been improved tremendously. Froyo drains battery fast. Last but not least, installed cyanogen mod. CM7 is what i needed. Use of less memory with less processor speed with lots of tweaks to adjust. incredible CM7. now my battery with 50% at 7am can last one whole day with moderate use with battery at 5% at 10pm. How cool is that;)

Pocket Now via
BriefMobile is reportingthat
Motorola’s first dual-core Android
smartphone will get an update next
month, but will not only include a
better version of Android for
smartphones (which is Gingerbread),
but could also include a file to initiate
a”fastboot oem unlock” command
that will allow Motorola Atrix 4G
customers to unlock their phone.
BriefMobile also posted a video
instructing Atrix 4G users on how to
unlock their phone once the official
Gingerbread build is available. You can
watch it below this post.
Unlocked Atrix 4G and other Android
devices are better than the“locked”
ones especially if you know how to use
it. Aside from tweaking the processor,
and/or the user interface, an unlocked
Android smartphones can also install
custom ROMS and other third-party
Android apps including the popular
Root Manager app and the Titanium
Backup app that can remove all
bloatware/unwanted apps.
Apparently, Motorola is also scheduled
to introduce a brand new phone under
Verizon Wireless, the Motorola Droid
Bionic, that will include almost all
features of the Motorola Atrix 4G of
AT&T like the compatibility with
webtop apps. If rumors are true about
the Droid Bionic, Verizon could launch
the phone in July or August, and will
include better features like redesigned
Android skin, and new processor.
