first of all, I thought they were suppose to change the UI and make their WP7 unique. different from others. but the pics disappoints me. Tiles are boring we need something like android which can be customized by shape and size. i was exited about Nokia WP7 thinking they will change the whole look of it but no. nothing new materialized.

would windows phone 8 devices be eligible for a windows phone 8 update (even if it would cost money to get the update)?
I think that only windows phone 8 would be "the real thing", so I would buy a phone7 device only if I would know for sure that it would be able to be upgraded to 8.
and I ask about every phone7 device - not only about nokia's devices.

Nokia will do very well if they just offer WP7 on all high end handsets, offer at least 3 form factors, touch screen like the N9, full qwerty as in E7 and maybe a flip/candybar for the large market in Europe who still want a dumbphone.There is a very large smartphone consumer market that understands good hardware like Nokia handsets, but hates the complicated interface of Symbian.

nokia has to desinged there on shape ,not to copy htc shaped ,this device look like to htc windows phone .so that sort of servive is not good for competitors

Of all the WP7 phones so far, this is the best looking so far. Nokia will sell a ton of these. Maybe they won't dominate but they are far from finished. Might get rid of my Android and get this instead, for an iPhone Nokia combo. They even look good together.

Though it has come late we still appreciate it nokia, some of us are nokia die hards, i personally havent had any other phone so this will and is a welcome development. jus wonder whether we can upgrade our current nokia devices.

wait, you guys said that the Nokia WP7 is very similar to Nokia N9?
that means, this phone has the same built-in battery just like N9?
well then, goodbye Nokia !
i won't buy any phone with built-in battery.

they dont even trouble their selves to design a new phone ... ! they only put some hardware keys and replace the LED flash and just changed the OS into WP7 :
