Eschatonic, 23 Jun 2011Sounds like the post-purchase rationalization talking if yo... moreBuddy I have iOS, Android and WP7 at my hands and I no need any post to realize wich phone does better net browsing...

Even if you or someone else hate Microsoft can deny the Browse Experience forn IE is good if not almos perfect...

Maybe there's people that like more open sourse software, but MS has great efforts on bring a good experience on this OS.

I'm not a fan of WP7 I'm a fan of Nokia phones, I use right now an Droid X2, BUT WP7 is the way to go for Nokia, and I'm waiting for get an W Series for my self just to be proud of been an Nokia User :D

Mr Elop since meego luks promising why not support both windows p7 and meego? Oh i forgot your first priority is to please your secret boss Steve ballmer, MS and obviously not Nokia. The problem is u dont listen to wat customers want.

AnonD-4697, 23 Jun 2011Did you used IE9 on WP7 lately? The updated one....In fact ... morei used it for weeks, and missing features:

could not add hidden SSID wifi,
no support for asian characters (keyboard)
boring monocolor UI (this is the total turn off)
        no video call feature,
the IE browser, i couldnt figure out how to get the address bar when browsing in landscape mode.

        pls advise

Anyone who isn't a WP7 fanboy have any recommendations for alternate browsers, instead of the POS that is IE?

Once again Nokia present another mobile phone with an extra wide bezel. Perhaps their amoled technology demands the extra thick frame, or they simply are behind on screen technology, but it would be nice if they tried to make their phones more pocket friendly.

I don't like Nokia, while the 'phone' part is still the best, the 'smart' part is a horrid experience of old UIs and poor design that punishes the user for wanting to do even the simplest task.
However I REALLY REALLY hope that Nokia & MS pump enough cash into the next device lineup to make it work because there is nothing like a market with three strong competitors. In PC era we got stuck with Windows XP for 10 long years because of MS monopoly now with Apple, Google and Microsoft fighting we reap the benefits.

MeeGo for Android lovers[now that you can use same apps.that you can on adroid]

And WP for Apple lovers(american markeT:>)
