Having spent 5 1/2 years in the mobile phone business, I have made my way through quite a scary amount of phones myself, all high-end. Both android and iPhone have fast become common things, I see people here compare iPhone to a Rolls Royce, come on and get a grip, you are getting mixed up with Apple and Virtu. ALL phones have their flaws (iphone with shit battery + reception after 3 months, and android with their laggy and unattractive OS), but if you want a phone with all the mod cons and without having the same phone as every single person you meet on the street, get a Blackberry. They may be slightly behind the rest, but in a world where people need their phones to do everything AND be a status symbol, this is a clear winner for me.

I'm pretty knowledgeable on what they canor can't do. Yet you persistently bate me with inanities. Like how the 3gs is superior, but you never quite say how or why. That's what touches nerves... So no, your comments don't worry me, just sadden. Even to the extent of my good natured bon mots are just repeated back to me. Sigh.

that makes it more unique
the iPh4 isnt jsu t a smartphone its also a designer product. that is what all android users always forget.
android devices wont get the designer appeal due to the fact that there are so many of them and lets face it they are all the same.
ppl pay more for iphones because they are getting a brilliant device and a designer label.
y do you think ppl pay 100s of pounds for a pair of jeansd when they could just get a pair for £30 that does the same job. and anyone that cant honestly disaggree obviously has been blinded by the love for their device

I went from a Droid Incredible to an Iphone 4. There are good things about phones and pain in you what about both as well. I wanted bookmarking for my podcasts and a car dock and head unit integration. Droids just don't have any accessories yet. One is not better than the other.

You see for iPhone users is just like have an Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe.
They not care if theres a faster cars, they don't care if theres a less expensive with more power, they don care if you ot the latest in comfort, they don't care if is just for 2 person, they don't care is only goes weekend cruising around the corner for get an coke....
They have a Rolls, And why? because they want to, they can paid to and they want to..Apple is just a device that is an style of living in US, a social class...Gosh even an 6 years old can recognize the apple logo...People don't turn heads if you got HTC, Samsung, LG, Nokias and more, they know what is an apple product...Mac, iMac, iPod, MacBook, iPhone...you name it....
That's why people geta apple, they dont care restrictions, even the Dev Team has jailbreaks just before new irmwares are released...so, you can't get in apple user head...they just love their phones...and I don't see people stay camping outside an Samsung/HTC/Nokia/LG/Motorola store for buy their new phones....Apple users do it, and iPhone is the best selling phone in the history in short time...in just 1 week..millions of iPhones has been sold.
I love Nokias, I like Androids, but Apple is that, Apple....
