Good job on Verizon for providing 50% off a phone that is too much. The Pixel 2 XL isn't my can of store brand soda, but there really is too much premium for what one would pay for a flagship. Aside from the camera, I personally would not have any use for that phone, let alone the Pixel 2. I think the other headline should be the Samsung Galaxy S5 is on this list. This discount is a testament to how the S5 is the greatest smartphone of the decade. Looking back, if I had bought one a few months ago instead of a refurbished LG G3, I could have still had a flagship with incredible features, instead of a larger screen with a noisy headphone jack and a fried motherboard.

Great deal for Verizon. They get a fully functional phone, for a fully bugged beta phone.
