Swaggy.sales don't actually prove anything about a device, just shows who has big, deeper advertiseing pockets and bribe money to give to sellers and networks.
Look at HTC recently, made some of the most outstanding and innovative phones, get great reviews,do well in polls etc, have features which have been quickly copied by others, but HTC's sales have been awful.
Take this Razer, lots of folk like the audio features,I.E,decent speakers etc, copied direct from HTC's BoomSound system..
You have to look at the sucess of Chinese phones as well, givye folk what they want, but at a more realistic price.
The next "innovation" will be thicker devices, with bigger, removable batteries and 3.5 mm headphone jacks, syereo speakers, many folk are quite happy to have pricey, designer led devices that ok for some folk but are realy starting to annoy a large section of the buying market.
Compare sales of non-carrier phones alone, see what sells well in that sector,so called "popular" phones don't dominate anything like they do in overall sales when subsidised by carriers..
Lots of folk don't want/need/like skinny, bezeless, edge to edge screens with weird ratios, yes some like that will sell, but "techies" want something different, and not every innovation has to be a new "thing" we had stereo speakers on phones before BoomSound, but they were crap, the innovation of boom was good speakers with decent audio amps and dacs etc,not new, just much better than before or the recent selling point of lots of phones, better camera modules and mote of them, not new, just better.
Some liked "innovative" phones will struggle for sales, but because of supply problems, like Jesus X phone,it could sell a lot more, but only if they could source more oled displays.

Apparently ... fans, have no taste.

This phone is a throwback to one million years ago. Nothing actually innovative or new.
It's really telling that one has to see sales to actually see which phone is better ... techies used to know better...

The one and the only reason why I would buy the Razor Phone would be it's outstanding speakers. I haven't seen the phone ever but some of my tech youtuber friend told me that it literally produces bass. So, that's kinda something that no phone does till date.
