The iPhone 6 and 6s unexpectedly shut down at low temperatures and Apple never acknowledged the widespread issues, only partially. Even if this is a big issue, Apple will downplay it and pretend it only affects "a very small number of units".

Ha! All the Amoled this year sucks! There's more colors to a screen than black, ok people. The orange that shows up when you open YouTube is enough for me to pass on Amoled. Perfect colors on Amoled, my arse

Not only temps but also crashing apps. There is no way to close or exit an app that freeze/crashed as it will require access to soft "Home" action/button.
I feel that Apple will bring back Touch ID through the power button in addition to Face ID.

There are rumors that Apple will start adopting this display for most of their Iphone X in 2018.
