        Why's nobody ever mention, neither here nor somewhere else , the TA 1024? I have seen it being sold...and it wasn't a nokia 5!

          TA1003 (4gb/64gb varient) got the update 3 days ago
          Nothing has changed
          I heard someone say Nokia 6 will get camera update as well, but seems not

              (it released firstly china , and thaiwan with HK tag ).
              Nokia released Google play-service (October) update for TA-1000 model also china variant.
              and Nokia 6 variants,
              TA-1000 - Dual Sim (4GB/64GB with Notification LED, China)
              TA-1003 - Dual Sim (4GB/64GB with Notification LED, HK taiwan , alsow known as 4GB global variant)
              TA-1021 - Dual Sim (3GB/32GB without Notification LED)
              TA-1025 - Dual Sim (3GB/32GB without Notification LED)
              TA-1033 - Single Sim (4GB/64GB Unspecified region/Different region)
              TA-1039 - Single Sim (4GB/64GB Unspecified (global)/Could be Arte Black)

                  It's known as a global (version/variant/Hk/Taiwan) of the Nokia 6 (TA-1003) comes with 4GB ram with 64GB internal memory & Notification LED with Google Play services.

Nokia won't release it till everything works. In the same time, nokia never claimed they will release os updates in a matter of hours. They claimed they will release all updates for android for couple of years. A thing you won't receive from other companies, namely samesung s8 who will for sure remain on android 7. If not, is a miracle.

                          gsmarena the november patch security update is only available for chinese variant of the phone (TA-1003) and not for global variant. please correct it in the article.

                            Where is Android 8 ? Nokia promised speedily updates, are they going to disappoint ?

                              Nokia just keeps getting better despite being under a different company. I'm looking forward to nokia 9 - even if it won't be the best in it's category by the time they launch it, the support nokia gives to its end users is just really good.

                                        As usual this would be the November 1 patch, so no KRACK fix. We have to wait till December patch to get it.
