AnonD-392500, 14 Nov 2017Xiaomi's selling point over other chinese smartphone manufa... moreMan... Please... Miui has some things that are nice but lacks in many others. You cannot say it's a polished UI. It needs much more things to become good.
Regarding the 11/11, I have to say that on Aliexpress they cheated a bit. About a week in advance they rose the prices, so it looked a little less on 11/11, but to tell you the truth, there was no major difference between the initial price and the price on 11/11. So I waited for the singles day because they rose the prices and purchased what I needed at that time. Unfortunately it does not reflect the actual purchasing. For sure many buyers waited for this day due to high prices that were practiced within the week before. And of course they report a record profit due to the things mentioned above. It's all just fake news...

Xiaomi's selling point over other chinese smartphone manufactures is MIUI. It is far more polish and feature rich than UIs of huawei, oppo, vivo, etc.

For those who don't know, Chinese Singles Day has basically become Black Friday but limited to online stores only.

I was thinking about the online shopping "Singles day" when I was taking a bath a few moments ago which Alibaba has set a new sales record again. I was wondering how much products Xiaomi would have moved during the sales period.
Xiaomi now has a wide variety of products and plenty are excellent value! Not surprising they sold so much
