Sony was my must-to-have manufacturer, but... my $450 DVD, dead! My high tech A/V receiver, dead too. The trinitron I was so proud, no longer alive. My i7 VAIO, motherboard got fire. Ah, ready to forget, satellite receiver died too!
No to mention Xperia (3 times fixed during guarantee)...
Good bye Sony, keep your gorgeous bezeles for the remaining fans. Ciao!

Sony should release something akin to Nokia 808, after all they are bold enough to not follow trends. I use a Priv which is around 10mm thick, it's not a problem at all.
A thicker phone for a Nokia 808 like camera abilities would be most welcome addition to the already crowded market (if battery is not compromised).
But they are bonkers with this duel front camera thing.

Reread that paragraph carefully and tell me where it does state that 21MP is the front camera and that the 16MP + 8MP dual camera is the main camera.
For me, it's just about time for these OEMs to start upping their game and start maximizing the capabilities of those high resolution front cameras. Honestly, don't anyone else think we're getting ripped off by these ever-flooding high resolution selfie cameras which are capped to record videos in 1080p at best?
4K recording capability on BOTH front and rear cameras... Hmm... That's probably OmniBalance for Sony. (Even though they're rumored to ditch OmniBalance design for Mirai next year)

Maybe Sony finally focus on improving main camera (soft) ? Because when did Sony make better pictures then others ? They have been selling their stuff for others companies for years, but they stand out. The photos are good and nothing more and in worse lighting conditions are weak. For years, they have been losing to Smasung, LG, lately also with the iPhone or HTC, and some time ago with Nokia (N8, 808PV, 930, 950).

"...camera on the front capable of 4K video capture." Whew, finally. Been waiting for this feature. The ONLY other phone that has such recording capability is that of Nokia 8's. Although this rumored upcoming Xperia device may not come as a flagship, I might consider. I've been patiently waiting for another OEM to incorporate this capability so I could compare it with Nokia 8's front camera

(Disclaimer: I'm not seriously suggesting this. Sony's and HTC's teams would otherwise steal this "marvelous" idea for their next dual camera phones.)
