Android Oreo arrives to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T

I have rooted my Oneplus 3t and have twrp flashed in it.should i have to reflash the stock recovery for updating or will TWRP do the job for updating?.and after update probably the root will go off so will the same method for rooting in nougat work or should i wait for a couple of weeks for root?

Those who are wondering why OP5T did not get launched with Android O. - manufacturers want to sell as many models as possible for a long period of time. To do this they have to continuously attarct customers with new offers, products, features etc. One plus strategy is to launch a phone, then launch update, then launch new color model, then limited time edition model then again new color model.... All this so that new buyers add every time. They have to maintain it at least for 6 months so they have to bring new things to attract more customers.

So, in a nutshell, Oneplus 3 and 3T remains the best phone the company has manufactured.
I don't support OEMs bringing in new flagship every year (or is it six months) with minimal upgrades. I would rather see companies build phones which will not need any upgrades (hardware wise) for two years, thus lengthening the product cycle. Most people in the developing countries buy a phone for two years anyway.
But since people of developed countries can afford them and since they want the latest and greatest, companies bring in new flagship every year. Making it difficult to maintain all these SKUs.

So they update last year's models to Oreo, before updating and releasing this year's flagships, which are stuck on Nougat. Wow, what a confused company and update plan. I'll pass on the 5T and buy a 2017 flagship that ships with Oreo.

i know this is quite a dumb question but does OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T has the same source code or not ? Thanks .
EDIT : Good to see OnePlus updating 3 and 3T to Android 8.0 Oreo to keep up with Google , Sony , Huawei and HTC , although it's funny that 5T is still on 7.1.1 in one side .

I am from Malaysia. Open system update - nothing. Use Opera VPN, connect to Germany and YASS! I FINALLY GOT MY OREO for my super awesome Oneplus 3T. THANK YOU CARL PEI !!
