As a company, Nokia is not making sense. If Symbian was the "Burning Platform", why continue to hash out clones all the time?
Simplify your range and improve on what's good.
Making new Symbian phones is just a bad idea and business sense.
Why partner with Microsoft and continue to hash out a clone every 3months?

Nice. This comes to show the next step Nokia is doing in the name of Connecting people :) and popularizing affordable smartphones for the masses. Even now in the low and middle range Nokia has the best devices in the market. And upgrading the middle range to 1GHz processor and 512 RAM would be a killer if the price is right.

Aaron, 28 Jun 2011If it's got only a 5MP camera, then it's not a C6-01 replac... moreYes, but the C6-01 has a fixed-focus camera that produces poor-looking shots. A good 5MP camera with autofocus can still beat it.

don't get me wrong - I'm a big fan of Nokia's hardware and many capabilities of the Symbian family of OSes. But they're going down the same failed road: dozens of devices fo every niche, NONE of which works perfectly as they can't concentrate their efforts.
*sigh* c'mon Nokia!

AnonD-149, 28 Jun 2011i wonder when will this Symbian nightmare come to an end...... moreSymbian will be around for at least 5 more years. And who knows? Maybe beyond. So you'll be hearing more of Symbian whether you like it or not.

If it's got only a 5MP camera, then it's not a C6-01 replacement since C6-01 has 8MP. This will be positioned lower than C6-01. Symbian now will occupy the lowend to midrange of Nokia's smartphone lineup.

From a consumer perspective, I do not see the point of getting this knowing that Symbian is already going down the hole.
I would buy in to this if it were android or WP7.5 who promises to compete with the big 2 phone OS.
Since Nokia is stuck with M$, you should be pressing to release new phones with your chosen OS and just have the OS upgradable. By this, nobody has to wait. Nokia does not wait to regain revenue, and people waiting for a promising WinP7.5 or 8 won't have to wait getting one.
Remember, Android started with a it of crappy things but look at it now.

in the third and fourth photo you can see the person who shoot the photos, maybe you can distort a little bit that images.
