I don't get it, If they know Symbian is going to be killed (support) directly from Nokia, why they still selling these phones, is like giving aspirine to a diying man...
The need to focus on something different, or directly advice...

But if Nokia puts WiFi and 720p HD recording I will buy it. I don't want to use touchscreen phone. It is disaster if you're always working outstation.

i own one it's a really good phone. its afordable has a nice cam nice filming, has facebook preinstalled and i got very good msenger apps from ovi store for free like ebudy or im messengers, has 3g. its a nice phone. but what nokia should do is think bout some people who hate damn touchscreen phones and really love devices like e71, e72 or e5. not that fake dum ass thing called e6. this is a good phone but i need a good keyboard a better cam better vids and wireless. i need a doped e5 that costs around 300€ but has real display real rams, real 5mp or 8 cam and its a real nokia symbian device with all the goodies nokia has accustomed us with. or get ur ass nokia get a 12mp or 15 mp e6 with both touchscreen and full keypad use with real rams real cams and windows os at 600 € that has in its pachage a case for it and all the good stuff e71, e72 had and make it a real replica for the balckberry 9900

Ashura, 28 Jun 2011I agree.Nokia has been making confusing move after confusin... moreCouldn´t agree more, on the confusing moves points - maybe it´s just too big for its own good, but Nokia keeps saying and doing the most contradictory things.
Having said that, I don´t think it´s a bad idea for Nokia to keep this kind of phone in their lineup: it´s exactly the kind of phone I´m considering next and one that many would be happy with. Myself, I´m moving past smartphone to tablet for browsing, reading and gaming, and planning on a 6220-like phone for pure telephony. This device looks perfect for that purpose.
Nokia IMHO is still the best for this kind of phone. They should have a half-dozen of these, then only three or four of the very top high-end devices: N8, N9 and E7. Keep the range small and having ¨A Nokia¨ will mean either a simple, reliable and rugged phone or an elegant, striking and capable smartphone. Nothing in between.

What's the deal!?
first Nokia and MS **%!?!**! them selves to tell all press and consumers that WP7 will be on Nokia devices not only that but Nokia will use WP7 as it's primary OS, after laying off almost all their symbian department, Since Millions of people STILL using Symbian and their fear replaced by rage, CEO Elop went on to say Symbian will be supported 'till 2016 and eventually sold Symbian Services to Accenture to show how much they care about people their customers, then N9 with MeeGo came out with Elop saying:what ever happens Nokia won't go for MeeGo (What's the point of a new OS with unclear future for even next device?!)and now every 2 days one new Symbian handset is coming out,What the *$%!$?*! is going on?!
wondering why Nokia is losing market share Q after Q?!
With this kind of management even it's existence in 2016 is unclear, supporting Symbian?!

great moved from nokia :-) . not all people love touch screen device :-) . nokia c5-00 5mp will rocks :-) low end device :-) nokia now you should focus on n97 it is great device :-) but it's need upgrade to >> 1ghz GPU 512ram and new version of symbian anna :-)

Gsmarena...i think u can read my mind...before 2 hours looking at those news about rumoured and leaked n series touch devices i'm thinking about my c5's upgradation(when will nokia release a new symbian candybar smartphone ) .... And within 2 hours i've read the mews and shocked..but its not a great upgradation..i badly need a symbian candybar phone with better c.p.u clock rate might be 1Ghz? 2.4 inch display,256mb ram and an 5mp AF camera with flash..wifi.. with better sound quality. Thats a real upgradation....isnt it..????

for an equivalent of US$200 here in south africa the 3.2mp nokia C5 version is selling like hot chocolate. This is a good upgrade for the 6220 classic. To bad my 2yr old N86 8mp works like i bought it yesterday.
