ethereal, 21 Nov 2017Nice to know how "cool" it is to make fool of someone these... moresorry man but i don't rip them off or something. what is wrong if i make 10k loss instead of 12-14k loss maybe. some are not so sound in technology and it is their issue that they do not real world prices. it is not that i am selling a defective phone or selling black market product. i am simply selling my used device with box, accessories, cases...etc and trying to make LESS loss not MORE profit. there is a difference.

XiaoFan, 21 Nov 2017Xiaomi need to bring stores all over Europe and US and do w... moreNo one dominates the market without making huge profit, Xiaomi banking on affordability to increase market share and to become leader of the global market as anyone else. If for some reason they would succeed and beat Samsung or Apple they would become new Samsung or Apple and would charge for phones as same as Samsung or Apple, cause this is there you cash in when you a leader of the market and can set prices high. It is economical law which happens to any market leaders, so you better pray your lovely Xiaomi will not dominate cause it will be just another Samsung or Apple, as people say, "King is dead, hail the King!", same principal.

selling phones in these sites causes massive losses. ebay and olx are much better. however ebay now wants me to give GST certification for selling personal old items. cashify like websites give 14-15k for a galaxy note 5 whereas ebay can easily fetch you 23-25k and if you are lucky you can find some idiot on olx and sell for 30k.

Good thing they provide a website that quotes a value for your old phone.

Well, any option to save money is good if they value your phone properly. At the end, you decide if trade or not. If not, simply refuse it.
There is a new photo of one upcoming model:
http://www.slashleaks.com/wp-content/uploads/e7d70fd9ly1flprwdtsboj20f00qomya-3.jpg
5.99-inch FHD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, 64GB ROM, 12MP rear camera, 4000mAh battery, Android 7.1.2 with MIUI 9.
It's alleged to be the Redmi Note 5 but... With 625? It fits the TENAA specs about SoC. Strange that they could update later with another Qualcomm... without a lot of rage from customers. At least, they should keep the price low with that old SoC. Or perhaps the improvement could come from the back camera... if it's the same as the main Mi6 (IMX 386 with OIS 12 Mpx) could make it an amazing option even rising the price reasonably. But I don't have a lot of hopes. It's a basic mid-range. We'll see.

Xiaomi need to bring stores all over Europe and US and do what they know how to do: Great phones at great prices!!!
Sammy and Aipel need to see how a phone can be good without being overpriced!
Xiaomi will dominate the world i already know because its not possible to compete with the same price at the same quality in other brands.
GO GO GO XIAOMI...
