Pathetic experience i have purchased oneplus 5 a month back now they launched oneplus 5t with same price tag. what is the use this, with lower configuration with same price. I feel like they ditch the customers.

Went on sale at 4.30 pm IST yesterday. Checked out with 128 gig variant at 4.31 pm. . . .. I had bought 8 months back. . . .but feel this one is much better in every sense. . . .The screen n modern look n better camera etc. OIS though desirable, its absence is not a deal breaker i feel.

Hardware cost for OIS sensors is higher than non-OIS ones but EIS costs more as it requires more software development.

Of course the best solution may be to have OIS + EIS, but just EIS is not necessarily worse than OIS

3T is a better phone, if you prefer the camera. The 3T has an OPTICAL image stabilizer, the 5 & 5T went cheap and use a software/electronic stabilization, which is inferior.
